Today’s post is both a fashion post as well as a featured influencer post. A few months ago I was lucky enough to come across “Salam Clothing”, a young clothing company that strives to correct the misconception of Arabic culture by expressing the Arabic word for peace, “salam” on their clothing. Started by a student at NYU, the brand’s ability to encapsulate a social misconception, and merge it with a modern, hip, aesthetic is something I truly had a lot of admiration for. The hoodie can be mixed with a light wash jeans and some Chelsea boots as seen here, or can even be worn with shorts and some white sneakers for a more casual look.
