This one is a reminder to all the creatives, artists, designers, musicians, content creators, filmmakers photographers and self proclaimed “influencers” who dedicate much of their time on growing their following on social media through their work. Ask yourself what kind of influence are you truly having? You’re situated in a unique position to use your platform to speak out. To use your creativity to call attention to things that need attention. To use your art, music, design whatever skills it may be to SHED light and provide information and resources to help this movement. THIS IS THE TIME TO LEAD with your influence. I’m begging you to use your platform to educate, provide resources, and lead by example. If social media is our creative outlet, now is time to use that platform to help inspire and empower change. #blacklivesmatter
